Shoes on the side of the road…. 👞
I just saw a pair…not just one, but a PAIR of men’s shoes laying on the side of the road! Not an athletic shoe, not a boot, but a pair of DRESS shoes. How does that happen? Was he on his way to work, or church, and just decided he was tired of the way they squeezed his feet, so he pulled over, got out, walked around to the opposite side of the road and just kicked them off? Was he a passenger, kicked them off in the car and they stunk so bad the driver made him set them out? I mean, they weren’t tossed out a window, these shoes were sitting side-by-side at the grassy edge of the shoulder. Was he a traveling salesman and after a long, hard day of beating the streets he stopped to change into comfy flip-flops and forgot to pick his good shoes up? So many questions…..
